And I know its a wonderful world
Rumors have been circulating around that the GCE O’Level results is coming out, not soon, but very soon. For those who said that they aren’t at least bit worried, are either lying or have successfully accepted to a higher form of education. Like most ordinary others, I’m worried. Not worried sick that I’m ready to jump off a ledge or anything. Just plain worried. Frankly, I’m more worried being compared to someone who is, without a doubt, better than me than the actual results itself.
I have a cousin who is also taking the examination this year and damn is she working really really hard to achieve her high standard aim or what? Judging by the amount of extra and tutorial classes she’s attending, I’m definitely a big fat liar if I said I wasn’t intimidated. She’s attending nightly classes for almost every subject, mind you. And I’m surprised that she even has time to juggle her never-ending classes and a social life. Plus, her mum has been giving me that eye lately. I would be more than happy to give her that ‘in your fucking face’ and send that cheeky smirk of her’s straight to hell. Really. Oh, the joy of proving people wrong. Its a silent war. We don’t say that we want to butcher each other heads off but secretly, we know someone needs to lose a head - its either me or her.
I have some weights lifted off my back than most people waiting for the results. Why? Its my second time sitting for the O’s. And no, I didn’t fail the last time I sat for the exams. My mum paid in advance for two O’Level sittings - one in June (5 subjects) and another in November (8 subjects). Infact, according to the parents, my June results was satisfactory - an ABBCC. No, Malay is C. Haha.
I hope I’m not the one losing my head. It feels really good to win.
I hope I’m making sense here. Using the email2blog feature, again. Will properly check my post tomorrow on a computer.
Until next entry, chew then swallow.
